The primary colors are red and green and bright and vivid as it shows the emotion, fear and disbelief of this roman solider as he goes on duty to find the empty tomb of Christ. The fear of the Roman army was that the body of Jesus would be stolen to validate the belief that Jesus would resurrect Himself from the dead.
