A vintage black and white photograph taken at peace time of a World War 2 soldier after the war was over around 1945. This soldier received the purple heart for wounds he suffered during the invasion of Normandy. He came home from the war and had some stories to tell during his time in occupied France. May his memory never be forgotten for all that he did for our country along with the many fathers and grandfathers who have fought wars to defend our freedom and the freedom of others.
