After leaving the military, I made the best decision I could in the transition and set out on the Pacific Crest Trail to spend some time in nature. As part of that decision, I invested in a camera to document the experience. That trip sparked a new passion in both the outdoors and photography. With that same camera, I have now hiked over 5,000 miles throughout the U.S. I take my camera almost everywhere I go now, always ready to capture what's out there.
