I grew up in a Christian home in the suburbs of Chicago. I liked to draw. My drawings were received well. At age 12 we moved to New Jersey, and I broke my right arm, my drawing hand. After that healed I cut the same hand badly, and somehow I was shy from visual art for the next ten years! But, over the years, I made the right choice: If you have been given a gift, you should use it! Today I have years of experience in Christian book publishing, and last year I started my own company as book designer.
